Fuentes Clásicas en el Teatro de Calderón de la Barca (estudio de "Las armas de la hermosura")
Abstract
This article analyzes how Calderón de la Barca worked with different classical texts, fundamentally, Tito Livio´s Ab urbe condita and Plutarco´s Pararell lifes in order to write his drama Las armas de la hermosura. It also helps to find out which changes Calderon made from his sources in order to adapt classical stories to dramatic preferences in Spanish Golden Age.Downloads
