25 Años de la muerte de Fernando Remacha
Abstract
The present article reexamines some aspects of the life and music of Remacha from a historiographical viewpoint, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of composer’s death. Based around two fundamental texts about the Generación del 27 and particularly the Grupo de los Ocho, to which Remacha belonged, historical and aesthetic issues previously discussed in earlier studies are reaffirmed, while the author provides new perspectives, emending certain errors and documentally revising details about his life and work.
