El imaginario lorquiano en la lírica rioplatense. Migración, lenguajes e identidades en el siglo XX
Abstract
Spanish emigration to the American continent has been long studied, and from different points of view. However, the objective of this article focuses on the in-depth study of one of the most significant features that this left on River Plate society: language; language as an identity factor, language in its common and artistic use, the poets and musicians who used and interpreted it. Chamber song, an artistic result of this flow of immigrants, acted as a reflection of the society’s language; it functioned as one of the many aesthetic responses to migratory changes and is a crucial factor in understanding the musical events that took place in the River Plate region from 1940 to 1980.Downloads
