Don Marino Soria: el Motu Proprio "Tra le sollecitudini" y el cecilianismo musical en Llanes (1921-1943)
Abstract
This article recalls the figure of don Marino Soria, parish priest of Llanes (Asturias) between July 1921 and December 1943 who, in addition to his pastoral work developed a remarkable musical activity, leading to the consolidation of the Schola Cantorum de Llanes, from the composition of many religious works and novenas, to the publication of a volume with fifty canticles and the construction of a new organ, all within the Cecilianist movement following the Motu Proprio (1903) of St. Pius X.Downloads
