La investigación artística en los conservatorios del espacio educativo europeo. Discusiones, modelos y propuestas
Abstract
The recent reorganization of the European Educational Space has generated new bases for the model of the artistic education at higher levels. One novelty is the standardization of research work in conservatories of music. While an important number of the research projects undertaken in European conservatoires are in areas such as musicology or pedagogy, there is an increasing interest in encouraging research by and through artistic creation. Several problems arise from this new field of artistic research that is stimulating debate concerning as the accepted methodologies or criteria for the evaluation and validation of the projects and its products, and even the very notion of the meaning of research. This paper summarizes some of the main current discussions, problems and models of artistic research in music conservatories in the European Educational Space.Downloads
