Lexicalization (and defrozeness) in the phraseological constellation formed with the nucleus querer
Abstract
This article aims to contribute to the knowledge of Historical Phraseology of Spanish by means of the analysis of the phraseological units formed with the nucleus querer and with its compound words with bien- and mal-, as bienquerencia, malquerencia, bienquerer and malquerer. To achieve this aim, this study tackles the history of the prepositive sequences por bienquerencia de / por malquerencia de / por bienquerer de / por malquerer de, anchored all of them in a process of defrozeness, as well as the analysis of the phraseological unit querer bien (o mal), understood as the origin point in the chain of lexicalization of that phraseological constellation.
