La mujer en el cine de Kenji Mizoguchi
Abstract
The Japanese director Kenji Mizoguchi filmed more than 80 pictures focusing on women. His work was realistic and critical of Japanese customs, which were macho and outdated. To make this claim, he used adapted and original stories, set in different centuries. In all of them, he always emphasized the strong female characters on three specific ways: mother, wife and prostitute/geisha. This article aims to analyze its major pictures and how the choice and development of these roles comes from the director’s own life.Le réalisateur japonais Kenji Mizoguchi filmé plus de 80 films portant sur les femmes. Son travail est réaliste et critique à l’égard des douanes japonaises macho et dépassées. Pour faire cette demande, il a utilisé des histoires originales et adaptées, dans des siècles différents. Dans tous les cas, il y a trois personajes féminins très spécifiques: la mère, l’épouse et la prostituée/geisha. Cet article vise à analyser les grands filmes et de la façon dont le choix et le développement de ces rôles viennent de sa propre vie.
