Johan Galtung: peace studies, peace communication, peace journalism: transcending the underlying conflicts
Abstract
This interview, with a brief introductory study, was conducted by the thematic editors of CIC 28 in the winter of 2022. Professor Johan Galtung is the founder of Peace Studies and an absolute authority in Mediation, Communication, and Peace Journalism. On the occasion of the tribute to professor Galtung in the International Congress on Communication and Peace organized by the Latin Union of Political Economy of Information, Communication and Culture (ULEPICC-Spain), we had the unique opportunity to speak with him.
