Abstract
This study compares and contrasts two Moratin’s comedies, El viejo y la niña and El sí de las niñas, showing its importance in the author's dramatic conception. Based on the marriage as a central theme, including multiple characters and scenes, this article describes the psychological and social implications of his thought and the distance growing between civil morality and Canon Law.Downloads
