Printed Papers and Booklets in Archives and Libraries: Classification, Terminology and a Guide for Identifying Same
Abstract
When working on a research project on any documentation center that houses old books and papers, there is a strong possibility that isolated papers or booklets containing a reduced number of pages will be discovered that have remained until then unnoticed and therefore uncatalogued. Their nature is diverse and, on occasion, identification can become complex, probably due to the fact that many of them appear in de-contextualized environment. This article aims to establish a systematic guide that encompasses, classifies and describes those more commonly found in archives and libraries to facilitate their identification.Downloads
