Active employment policy and vulnerable groups in a context of scarcity of employment opportunities

Abstract

This work tries to show how certain social and economic processes have generated a new paradigm in which the scarcity of employment opportunities is its main characteristic. In this socioeconomic context, vulnerable groups are the most affected, having to be the employment policy, specifically, its active dimension, which provides the appropriate means to facilitate the incorporation into the labor market of people with greater difficulties, betting on the Labor intermediation and the role it assumes in the new Employment Law.
