Privacy and public authorities: Issues in the new digital administrative process
Abstract
The main objective of this research study is to offer a systematic analysis of consent in the processing of personal data of minors under the General Data Protection Regulation and the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights. This is the fundamental legal basis for dissecting the essential contours of the electronic signature as the most suitable instrument for guaranteeing the provision of this consent, placing special emphasis on the singularities that this presents when those intervening as data controllers are Public Administrations under the new regulations on trust services.
