Open Access policy and fees

The journal is an open access journal, which means that all of its contents are available free of charge for all individuals and their institutions. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and link the complete text of all articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without being required to ask for permission from their authors and editors beforehand.

This definition of open access agrees with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). The re-utilization of works can be done under the terms established by the license Creative Commons Reconocimiento 4.0 (CC BY 4.0).

Cuadernos de Gobierno y Administración Pública promotes the development of an Open Science that allows a greater scientific advance. That is why it does not charge fees for submitting papers, nor fees for the publication of its articles. It also urges authors to deposit the research data underlying their publications in open access institutional or thematic repositories federated in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).

Likewise, the journal is committed to a continuous publication of its articles in the open and free of charge, to allow faster access to the contents to the scientific community.
