«Donne, preferite i gloriosi mutilati!». Narrative Prosthesis in F.T. Marinetti
Abstract
This paper focuses on the representation of the war wounded as disabled people in the writings of F.T. Marinetti. After a review of the works where the author celebrates the body of the war wounded, some controversial aspects will be highlighted. Finally a critical assessment on Marinetti and the Futurist movement’s treatment of disability will follow.
