Abstract

In the reduced group of Spanish translators of the Opera of Lucian of Samosata in the Golden Age don Francisco de la Reguera must be added, a monk from Valladolid, who, –having firstly enjoyed reading the sophist´s Verae Historiae – decided to translate the two Books of that work and attempted to imitate the Lucian´s style in a very special and, at that time, unique literary continuation.
