Inferentia in Scientia in Juan de Oria's Opera Logica. Nominalist Logic in Salamanca in the 16th Century
Abstract
This paper examines the semantic nature of the hypothetical proposition to understand the Inferentia in Scientia in Juan de Oria’s Opera Logica. The study of the Salmantino Professor’s notion of science has been divided into three parts: first, on dialectic reasoning and the hypothetical proposition. Second, on the nature of the hypothetical proposition in Juan de Oria’s Summularum Logica. And, third, the concept of inferentia in scientia in Oria’s Opera Logica.
