La visión filosófica del mundo en Averroes. Averroes’ philosophical view of the universe
Abstract
Averroes, according to the author, pleads for the unity of truth and reason in philosophy as well as in religion. To prove the unity, Averroes first transfers one of both truth and reason into the other by means of demonstrative interpretation. Secondly, he keeps philosophy away from the theological deflection, i.e. the Kalam polemical theology, and from the Sufi one. At last, once philosophy has been freed from Sufism and Kalam, Averroes aims at philosophy as being on three levels (substance, movement, and relation) and as causal interconnection.Downloads
