Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study the presence of Ramon Llull’s thought in Nueva Granada. I divided this paper into two sections. First, remarks about books printed between the 16th and 18th centuries, which are found in two libraries in Bogotá (Colombia): Biblioteca Nacional de Colombia and Biblioteca de Teología de la Universidad Javeriana. Secondly, a brief account of some certain or presumptive lullist thinkers, who made presence in New Granada, particularly Friar Juan de Santa Gertrudis, Friar Francisco de Soto y Marne and Juan Martínez de Ripalda.
