Abstract
The theory of political justice in Otfried Höffe’s philosophy is one of the most updated and original reformulations of the Kantian project about international peace among the states. Höffe shares with Kant’s thesis that international peace should not to be understood as the provisional result of a balance of power among different powers, or as empirical absence of hostilities, but as a legal peace based on the guidelines of international law. Höffe’s believe that the guarantor of the aforementioned international legal order is the establishment of a subsidiary and federal world state.Downloads
