The world of Jilsam Mynsca

Abstract
The world of Jilsam Mynsca is the name of the art therapy workshop decided by the gruop of children aged between 6 and 7 years. The project was carried out, during teaching hours, in an educational center for students in a situation of exclusion, with a total of 14 sessions. The group presented a poor adaptation to the academic environment, that is, low academic performance, high school absenteesim and difficulty in putting words to their emotions. The objetive of the art therapy intervention focused on self-regulation and activation of personal resources; support; and the promotion of new relationships-communication structures through the creation of puppets. Posing as a hypothesis that art therapy can help children to acquire self-awareness, strengthening their self to enhance their capabilities. In concluson, we can say that children have become empowered by the proposals and have increased their subjectivity. We consider that it would be interesting to analyze and investigate whether by means of a longer and longer duration of art therapy it would be possible to observe improvements at the academic level in these children.
