Abstract

This work is the product of a process of documentary research, with the aim of identifying psychological interventions based on art to accompany grief processes, based on the methodological strategy of the state of the art. The review was carried out according to the categories of mourning definitions, principles in the intervention based on the art, objectives to which it is addressed, and techniques and tools that are produced from this work. Among the most relevant results is the multiplicity of notions that have the concept of mourning from different disciplines, and how art can be a way to intervene and encourage people to discover their creative potential, re-mean their losses, and acquire tools for the transformation of their subjective world.
