Abstract
This article covers some basic aspects of renal failure, aiming not only to understand how the illness works but also to explore the nephrology unit and, more specifically, the dialysis unit and the treatments carried out there. Thereby, the present work allows art therapists to learn about this medical specialty. Additionally, it provides and spreads the knowledge necessary for a better professional practice, for development and specialization in this context.Downloads
