Acerca de los canteros de Nuestra Señora de Esslingen 1359-1454. Estado de la cuestión
Abstract
The gothic chapel of Our Lady of Esslingen was built between the 14th and the 16th century. Since the beginning of the 15th century we know the name of several master masons and how their workshop was structured. During these years Ulrich von Ensingen was the master mason of the chapel, and some years later his son Matthaus Ensinger inherited the post. Nevertheless, the direction of the construction in Esslingen was under the supervision of a foreman. During the 1430s, this situation generated some problems and slowed down the construction works.Downloads
