Abstract

Like cultural history that combines text and image, art and literature, we raise a route, in reference to the Hispanic monarchy between 1516 and 1658, on the subject, key with respect to this institution, of the education or instruction of the prince [espejos de príncipes, literally: mirrors of princes], from the data of contemporary printed sources.
