Più bello dalla Vittoria di Samotracia?: Approach to the meeting between automobile and art
Abstract
The automobile is a technological advance that influenced strictly the transformation of lifestyle in western societies during the twentieth century. From its invention, the car keeps up an interesting relation with the evolution of arts: it appears like motif in pictorial compositions, like material for making sculptures... This article studies the diachronic evolution of the relation automobile-art, without forgetting the changes in the perception of reality caused by the generalization of freeways and car trips.Downloads
