Isidro Carnicero. His relationship with the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts
Abstract
As a contribution to the knowledge of the sculpture developed in Spain during the XVIIIth century, field where there is still a lot of work to do, we present the information about the artist Isidro Carnicero that we have found in the archive of the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts. The artist was closely related to this institution, developing different activities and producing an important part of his work in it, until he became Director General. In this text we try to show not only some actions unknown until now but also to clarify some questions published before that had been wrongly interpreted.Downloads
