Exaltación de la iconografía local en la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII. La ciudad de Toledo
Abstract
The artistic view during Spanish Enlightenment outlines complex and apparently contradictory solutions to the investigator. This article intends to show, through diverse examples related to the Toledan area, the attachment among neoclassicism and historical conscience. In other words: the intentional recuperation of a past in which monarchical exaltation and religious feeling advance parallel and through the most characteristical representation formulae of the XVIII century.Downloads
