Architecture, fashion and exhibition stories. Dialogues from architectural composition
Abstract
Architecture has countless connections with the world of fashion, including serving as a coat or skin to protect exhibitions whose routes behave like true spectacles. Exhibition spaces dedicated to fashion have been acquiring greater importance and impact in the last decades of the 21st century, which is why innovation in this sector is booming. The aesthetic as well as intellectual coexistence in these tours allows us to learn about two fields that coexist throughout people's daily lives, architecture and fashion. Its spatial compositions and at the same time, its narrative, influence the immersion towards the experience of the exhibition tour. The following work is based on a historical and comparative analysis of the temporary exhibitions that have housed collections and exhibitions on fashion throughout history through the architectural study of buildings created expressly for an exhibition purpose and other more recent ones due to their character. heritage have been adapted to meet this objective.
