Museography and narration in the first Julio Romero de Torres Museum of Cordoba (1931)
Abstract
This article presents an analytical museographic study of the Julio Romero de Torres Museum of Córdoba at the moment of its creation, a clear example of a monographic author museum. Open in 1931 in a context key to the development of a certain museographies and discourses: the sudden death of the artist, the gather achievements, his relationship with Córdoba and the contexts of creation and domestic. This work aims to take care of the discovery, description and analysis of the museographic spaces created for this new museum in Cordoba in order to extract its significance and to provide a narrative reading of its speech.
