Against the “Wimp” Transition: La Familia Lavapiés as Counter-Cultural Symptom of the Radical Left
Abstract
The article analyzes the trajectory of the artistic group La Familia Lavapiés (LFL), taking into account documentary collections as Dario Corbeira´s Archive (ADC), that remain highly unknown. The group’s activities are located in the context of historical emergence of the radical left during the last stage of Franco dictatorship. In particular, LFL was linked to the People’s Union of Artists (UPA), integrated in the maoist organization Revolutionary Antifascist Patriotic Front (FRAP).Downloads
