Abstract

Rodrigo Jiménez de Rada’s Breviarium Historiae Catholicae is a very interesting late medieval manuscript held in Complutense University Library. The paper analyzes its most relevant codicological facets as well as the iconographical and artistic relevance of its main illumination which depicts Noah’s Ark.
