The urban palace: formation of a pattern model in the Middle Ages
Abstract
The survival of medieval vaulted structures in later buildings shows us the roots of the palatial new model to be developed in the Renaissance. Through two Toledo palaces complexes: the don Manuel’s Palace and the Palace of Fuensalida, we will analyze the elements that will make up the new typology, identify its origin and analyze their transformations.Downloads
