A Work in Spain by Luca Signorelli
Abstract
This article studies a tondo by Luca Signorelli in a Spanish private collection with the depiction of the Marriage of the Virgin. The text analyses the pictorial technique and the stylistic features of the work, its place in the painter´s chronology and also the Renaissance frame, which has been preserved. Probably it´s a Marriage commemorative work and painted between 1500 and 1510.Downloads
