Abstract
History of Art can be an important tool in the studies of History of Education. The view that some works shows us about an ordinary educational moment can be the key for the study of the material culture, the layout of the classroom, the relationship between students and teachers… The analysis of some of Jan Steen’s works brings us closer to Holland’s educational reality during the 17th century.Downloads
