Traditionally, this type of studies was approached from the area of the urban history, although the history of art must be risen as a tool that the urbanism researcher has to handle to obtain a complete understanding of the form and evolution of the city. In case of Llanes, the historical - artistic analysis practised in some of the most relevant buildings of the village has allowed the obtaining of conclusions that refer, in last instance, to criteria of rational distribution of the space assumed by the villas of new low-medieval foundation.Downloads
