Abstract

Considerations about the considerations of Paolo Giovio concerning the portraits and the inscriptions elaborated by himself, like roman’s elogia, to conform his Museum or locus musarum in Como. Especially about Leon Battista Alberti, and all in the high quality cultural context of the midle Cinquecento (Farnese’s circuit and Giorgio Vasari).
