Configuration of mexican short short story through Micronopio
Abstract
Within the dynamic process in which artistic forms are embebed, we analyze the consolidation of the short short story as a literary genre through "Micronopio", an audiovisual series directed by César Abraham Navarrete Pérez for News Agency 22 on Channel 22. Through interviews with more than twenty Mexican writers (from an Argentine and Uruguayan) we analyze the outstanding milestones in the history, institutionalization and consolidation of this literary genre in that country, the impact of the work done by its precursors and first cultivators in Spanish-American literature and the channels of diffusion of the genre through publications, workshops, contests, cultural journalism, anthologies, etc.
