El comunitarismo como estilo de vida en vías de desaparición
Abstract
El comunitarismo, tradicional estilo de vida de los jornaleros del Sur de España hasta finales del siglo XX, está perdiendo su vigencia como modelo articulador de su identidad, cultura y modos de vida, para ser sustituido por otro basado en el individualismo subsidiado y consumista. Así se puede inferir por los datos produ-cidos en el estudio de los jornaleros de Bujalance, comunidad rural cordobesa si-tuada en la comarca del Alto Guadalquivir cuya principal característica socioeco-nómica es el monocultivo olivarero latifundista.
Communitarism as a disappearing lifes style
The aim of the paper is to show how the communitarianism lifestyle, typical in the field of day laborers in southern Spain until the late twentieth century, has lost its validity as a model that articulates the identity, culture and ways of life, be repla-ced by a lifestyle based on subsidized and consumerist individualism. So we can infer from the data produced in the study of day laborers of Bujalance, Cordoba rural community located in the region of Alto Guadalquivir socioeconomic main feature is the landowner olive monoculture.
