Global citizenship education in the university context: comparative analysis between Mexico and Spain
Abstract
The study analyzes the knowledge and experience of university professors in Mexico and Spain regarding Global Citizenship Education (GCE), using a quantitative methodology with 716 participants. The findings reveal significant differences in the incorporation of GCE. In Mexico, 43.4% reported not having had experiences related to GCE, while in Spain the figure is 34.8%. This analysis highlights the need to strengthen training and collaboration opportunities in GCE within universities.Article download
