Excavaciones arqueológicas en Machaquilá, Petén, Guatemala
Abstract
The article presents the overall approach and results of the recent archaeological work in the Maya city of Machaquilá (Petén, Guatemala). The excavated plazas –in the central sector– and groups –in the residential area– are analyzed emphasizing on the characteristics of structures, the construction sequences, the chronology and the predominant role of each unit.Downloads
