El Códice Dehesa: reflexiones en torno a un documento mixteco colonial a partir de su análisis codicológico
Abstract
The Codex Dehesa is an indigenous colonial document from the Mixtec cultural area. On its first section is depicted a peculiar mythical foundation story that can not be found in other Mixtec sources. The objective of this paper is to offer some conclusions obtained after the analysis of the original document, which can help to elucidate the confection process, and part of its history. The codicological study showed three important interventions held in different historical periods; these are structural changes that affect the final work.Downloads
