De lo duradero a lo perecedero, II: Técnicas textiles, producción y uso del tejido prehispánico en Esmeraldas, Ecuador
Abstract
This paper is a study on the spindle worls and dye mollusks recovered by Proyecto Esmeraldas. The presence of different kinds of specialists in the successive periods is suggested: ceramists in the Formative, weavers in the Regional Development and merchants in the Integration. The changes detected in the immediately preConquest subphase could reflect a new sociopolitical order.Downloads
