Abstract
Once the Classic Language Ch’olan filiation has been established, the study of texts like «Los Papeles de Paxbolón» gains more importance. Casting light on the clitic function in Ch’olan languages will contribute to better understanding of Classic texts. The clitic alacks aspectual or deictic function. It is an emphatic and expresive clitic in function. Its equivalent in Ch´orti and Spanish languages are -ix and ya.Downloads
