La ciudad de San Miguel de Piura, primera fundación española en el Perú
Abstract
This article offers a survey over the first part of the archeological works on the ruins of the viceroyal city of San Miguel de Piura (Perú), the first spanish foundation in Austral America, and inserts them in an historical perspective defined by the facts founded in the documental investigation. This works have been carried out on request and in coordination with the Nacional Institute of Culture (INC) of the Republic of Perú, through its Departament Director in Piura, professor Luis Alberto Chaparro Frías.Downloads
