El número de tlacuiloque-“pintores” del Libro Indígena del Códice Tudela
Abstract
In this paper we present the study of the painters who made the pictures of the Codex Tudela. Through the stylistic analysis of the images, we stablish that, at least, two artists were involved in the work. Possibly, a third painter may have painted a concrete section of the document: the xiuhmolpilli. Finally, we have determined that the work the two main painters made, was done regarding the division of the book in folders instead of thematical sections. So, many sections were painted by both of them.Downloads
