Abstract
In this paper we discuss sorne of the aspecís regarding Ihe policy of pacifying Ihe Apache Indians implemented by the Spanish crown al the end of the eighteenth century. Due te Ihe fact that Ihe area known as Ihe Apachería included several different tribes of Apaches extending over a large area of Ihe American Seuthwest and northwestern Mexico, examples of Ihis policy are limited te southern New Mexico and west Texas.Downloads
