Uchibil kin, uchibil u. The Eclipses in the Books of Chilam Balam: Reelaboration and Remediation
Abstract
This article studies the eclipse sections on Chilam Balam of Chumayel, Kaua, and Ixil. First, it presents an analysis of texts and images working with new translations and studying the process of reelaboration of textual and visual contents. After that, the article applies the intermedia concept of remediation to achieve a better comprehension about the reelaboration process carry out by the colonial Yucatec Mayas
