From the Diabolical World of the Gentiles: Readings on a Very Present Past in the High-Andes of Potosi and Chuquisaca (Bolivia)
Abstract
Building off data collected in the departments of Potosi and Chuquisaca in Bolivia, this paper addresses certain aspects of «chullpas» related to the perception of these archeological sites and in dialogue with the past, analyzing not only the historical profundity of the categories, entities and principles (and their relation) present today in these significant spaces, but also their participation within the intense processes of social change occurring in recent decades.Downloads
