Autoethnography and co-creation of transmedia contents about space and territory.

Abstract

We present the research-creation process generated through the autoethnographic exploration of the social and cultural signification of the students’ physical and conceptual territories and the use of co-creation processes for content generation, between two Communication schools in Spain and Colombia. The resulting transmedia product is housed in the Universum Habitado open-access platform. The employment of research techniques as frames for collaborative, reflexive and critical learning offers a suggestive academic experimenting field for the future, as it proposes hybrid models between the autoethnographic, the social, the participatory and the co-creative.
