Romaxe e galeguismo: a festa relixiosa e o nacionalismo galego ás vésperas da Guerra Civil Española
Abstract
The article approaches pilgrimage and the Galician Christian Nationalism just before the Spanish Civil War. The religious festivity is dealt with based on two points: a) It had, according to the Galician nationalists, the marks of being Galician, a fundamental aspect to the invention of a nationality; b) the time and history perceptions of these Galicianisms were both of a teleological nature. The study of these issues is based on the work of Ramón Otero Pedrayo (1888-1976), a prolific and reknown Galicianist of the period.Downloads
